Alltnacriche Outdoor Adventure
Term four has got off to a flying start with
our P6 pupils outdoor adventure at Alltnacriche. The trip offers wonderful opportunities for the children to develop an appreciation
of the natural landscape of Scotland and presents personal and team challenges through a range of exciting activities. The
children have returned full of enthusiasm with some great stories to tell.
The trip would not be possible without the dedication of the trip leaders Mr Ford
and Mrs Murray who were joined this year by Calaidh Paterson. Calaidh’s participation
in the trip will contribute towards her Girls Brigade Queen’s Award Thanks Calaidh and good luck with the award.
Our thanks must also go to parents Libby
McRae and Nicky Harrel who accompanied our P6’s. Your support is very much appreciated. The children had a wonderful
educational experience.
Spring
Fair
Our Spring Fair this year enjoyed the support of many families
and friends. There were lots of attractions for everyone to enjoy. Particular favourites were the face painting, bouncy castle
and the delicious chocolate fountain.Mrs Ferguson returned to make her famous pancakes
with her fellow baker Olive Murray. We appreciate their help. Casa Salvatore was a
new feature this year and they provided a selection of barbequed food for all to enjoy. A huge thank you goes to our fundraising
team for all their efforts. The fair cleared over £1,800. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making the fair a successful
event.
