Here at Ellon Primary School we aim to deliver a quality education suited to the needs of all our children. We aim to provide pupils with opportunities to develop the skills necessary to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.

 

We do this by creating a purposeful learning environment where curriculum activities are linked across subject areas and set within meaningful contexts. We believe that children learn best when actively engaged in learning activities that are creative and fun to do.

 

Curriculum activities are progressive, building on previous learning from one year to the next. This ensures each child progresses with confidence at a pace suited to them.

 

We strive to create a relaxed, caring atmosphere where learning, personal, social and emotional development is encouraged and nurtured.

 

By the time our pupils leave Ellon Primary we hope they will be creative in their thinking, caring, responsible individuals with the confidence to engage in the next step in their learning.
